uhhmmmm, i don’t get why people are complaining about all of this stuff, is it the fault of the ENTIRE population of aruba that natalee got missing because of what one or three people did? Is it the governments fault that she got killed? obviously not.
My friends and I will be staying away from Aruba until justice is done re the idiot Joran. There are many other nice islands to choose from — go to the Abacos instead.

Should any person who makes a poor judgement expect to be murdered in Aruba?! Should they expect the murder to be covered up in the name of tourist dollars?! Understandably, natives would rather blame outsiders whose dollars they depend upon, but perhaps they should protest their government instead. NATALEE WE REMEMBER.

Thank you for the correction. Of course it’s Natalee Holloway. And thanks to Natalee giving her own life, she exposed that there is no justice to be found for an individual vacationing on island getaways whose sole survival depends on that very tourism.

What really stinks is, Nancy Holloway had to die to expose the absolute corruption and incompetence that exists in tiny “vacation getaways” – How a country like Holland can endorse such blatant inhumanity to try to protect the tourist reputation of one of it’s territories. WATCH OUT IN ARUBA – turned out to be the message loudly proclaimed over the long-remembered travesty – which do note: can happen again and again.

wish i could live in aruba or at least have a place to escape from this dump
if u stay at a certain place they will provide towels from hotels so u can pass thru, use palapas, chairs, nobody will say a word. in fact i stopped carrying towels after a few days, for $1-2 the guys will be happy to get u a towel and recliner. doubt they want to offend tourists. it’s their only source of income.
petty crime, mosquitoes, flies in supermarkets is much more disturbing. still no big deal if you go prepared and know what to expect.
