Miracle Treatments – Larimar Spa – Aruba – on Voyage.tv

Named a “Hot Spa” of 2007 by Condé Nast Traveller, the Larimar Spa at the Radisson Aruba Resort, Casino & Spa is an oceanfront oasis, ideal for relaxing and rejuvenating after a day in the sun or a night at the casino. Set amidst the resort’s 14 acres of waterfalls and gardens, the spa includes nine treatment rooms, a beauty salon, private terraces, a fitness center and tranquil outdoor relaxation areas housed in eastern-inspired bamboo structures with day beds and lounges. The spa’s name comes from the blue volcanic Larimar stones that are used—along with Aruban black beach stones and local aloe vera and algae—in several of the customized body treatments. The Menu: The Larimar offers a complete range of treatments including massage, body therapies, facials, hair care, waxing, nail care and men’s services. Island inspired treatments like the Marine Prelude and Ocean Sensations Journey, compliment ayurvedic-inspired therapies like the the Qi-Baume massage and Euro-Indo Massage Ritual. The Must-have: There’s no better way to get on island time than with the 80-minute Aloe Vera Rum Massage. Lime, Aruban aloe vera and native rum are incorporated during the massage, followed by an aroma-infused aloe scalp massage. Hot Larimar stones are then applied to sooth away tension and complete the relaxation process.

De Palm Island, Aruba – Family Vacation – On Voyage.tv

Ferry out to De Palm Island and discover a private island exclusively devoted to family fun. Keeping children and adults entertained (or in the case of the latter, relaxed) is the main focus at De Palm Island and therefore, there are more activities than you can squeeze in before dusk. Kids will want to spend most of the day at the Blue Parrotfish Water Park, a colorful maze of slides, dunking pools and other fun features. Of course, the waters surrounding the island are a playground in their own right and can be explored according to your preference. Snuba, a combination of scuba and snorkeling, takes you to the ocean depths without the burden of heavy gear. For an aquatic adventure unlike any other, try Sea Trek, and walk the custom-made walkway 20 feet under the sea, or get your picture taken in the underwater café. With protective head gear that acts as an oxygen mask, you are free to feed the fish, study the marine life or just hang out. If youd rather stay above sea level, beach volleyball, windsurfing and other activities are also available.
